Temperatures across the central plains this morning are generally
in the 50s, with sporadic locations reporting temperatures near 60. A few 
showers are sluggishly moving across portions of southwest
Kansas, but this activity should slowly wane through the morning 
hours. This afternoon additional development of isolated to 
widely scattered showers and storms is possible across southern
Kansas and northwest Oklahoma, and temperatures will top out in 
the 70s across the region. Tonight, a few showers and storms may
fester into the overnight hours across southern Kansas and
northern Oklahoma, while temperatures drop into the 50s.

For Tuesday, chances for isolated to widely scattered showers and
storms may continue across southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma.
Highs Tuesday afternoon will range from the low 70s to low 80s 
across the region, and lows Tuesday night will be in the mid to
upper 50s.
